While on the one hand there is Samsung that may have decided to put aside the Note range in favor of full support for the S Pen starting from the now imminent Galaxy S21 Ultra, on the other there are companies that believe in this type of products. Among these is Motorola which would be close to the announcement of its new Moto G Stylus 2021.
Successor to the Moto G Stylus, marketed in Europe under the trade name of Moto G Pro, this new generation should bring a larger screen, a new processor and an improvement in the photographic sector. The design, according to the renderings released in the past few hours by Steve Hemmerstoffer (known to most as OnLeaks), would be different from the one seen last December.
Moto G Stylus 2021 should keep the fingerprint recognition sensor on the back, integrated into the Motorola logo, and not on the side as previously assumed. The design of the photographic sector is also different, characterized by a rectangular module in which there is a 48MP main sensor flanked by an 8MP ultra wide sensor, a 5MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera, on the other hand, should have a 16MP sensor integrated into a “hole” in the 6.8-inch display with FHD + resolution.
Rounding out this new information are the dimensions of 169.6mm x 73.7mm x 8.8mm (making it even bigger than a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra) and the confirmation of a Snapdragon 675 as a processor. All sources seem to at least agree that the headphone jack will still be there.
For the rest there should always be 4GB of RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery. Doubts about the presence of NFC or not. Recall that the Motorola G Stylus was presented in February, the 2021 model could be made official in the same period. As for the European market, it may be necessary to wait a few more months (the G Pro was made official in May and marketed during the summer).
